$3500 Sign on Bonus

Assists in the planning direction and supervision of the Material Management department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience
• Driver license - valid
• Satisfactory Driving Record

Major Responsibilities:

1. Maintains established departmental policies; procedures; objectives; quality assurance program and safety standards.
2. Ensures that Hospital/Departmental Policy for Purchasing practices are met and adhered to.
3. Responsible for Materiel IS system planning and daily outcome.
4. Responsible for monitoring purchasing contracts for performance adherence.
5. Inspires work team and monitors daily performance.
6. Monitors PO/Invoice function for accuracy and current turn around.
7. Stores and restocks pre-mixed IV medications; solutions; syringes and needles to patient care areas.
8. Researches and selects products according to contract compliance; quality; price and serviceability standards.
9. Interviews Vendors and make recommendations accordingly.
10. Responsible for compliance of safety practice as it applies to Policy; or regulatory standards.
